I assume you realize that this is from the LP and not from the Tonight Show.

Tiny Tim had a few tracks played serious & they were quite good. He recorded a Paul Williams-Biff Rose composition even David Bowie covered: "Fill Your Heart." It was produced by hotshot producer Richard Perry & had a great arrangement with full orchestra. Tim starts it off vaudeville style but once he starts singing its straight. His voice in full display & he hits incredibly high notes. Tiny Tim should have put a serious LP out with no novelty. He had the talent. This one surprised me.

"The moron(s) managing TT could have changed course and marketed him as a serious talent (as evidenced here) but went for laughs instead." You have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Tim spent more than a decade trying to make it as a "serious talent" ... and failed miserably.

Contrasting Tiny Tim with other entertainers who sang "This Is All I Ask" such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Robert Goulet, and others, I favored Tiny Tim because the way he sings it is heartfelt and more "magical" than the rest.  Good job, Tiny. I miss you.

This is an amazing recording that I used to have on a cassette someone made for me. I wish I still had it. The whole album was beyond special. If I remember correctly, this album was done with the London Philharmonic orchestra. God Bless You Tiny Tim.

This man was a gift to the endearing emotional soul in all of us! Truly a GIFT! I have this album on vinyl! Boughtit in 1968! Will never part from it!
