The bands on the Deep Six comp are considered the founding fathers and the beginning of the grunge sound, I just add the screaming trees since they were around the same time.

also forgot the melvins in there although they are more on the sludge metal side

I was at a porno shop smack right across the street from Sky Harbor Airport before I got a job there and this guy working there introduce me to this band. And I love them every since, and I wish they could have kept going today as we speak.

I sincerely believe that none of you have a clue about music (except for a few of you who are awesome). You guys listen to the radio too much. Listen to the MUSIC and stop listening to songs with catchy choruses. If you think this whole movement sucked, then you have horrible taste in music. It is not my point of view. It is fact.

i just cant believe that these bands (mudhoney, skin yard, u men, swallow, green river, gruntruck etc) still dont recieve as much respect as they should
