Another Vallee classic! The tango was all the rage at that time. He knew well another favorite Rudy, Mr Valentino. He did eulogies for him every year at the Hollywood Forever cemetary in Hollywood at his birthday until his passing. If only they had the chance to film together. I did a radio interview with Mr. Vallee at his amazing home in 1978 at the top of the Hollywood hills, broadcast on the Dr Demento show. He was amazing! He made one of the first talking pictures in 1929 ( a musical "Vagabond Lover"), and was the first swooner/crooner who drove women wild.
