One of my all time favorite singles . MC Shan one of the most underrated lyricist of all times . His first 2 Albums put him in the top five of his time when Grand Master Caz , Melle Mel and Kool Moe Dee (who not only fathered the golden age but leap frogged into the golden age and competed ) made way for the Golden Age that really took off around 1985, 86 when the Juice Crew and Eric B and Rakim came through. I would say the Ranking for that time was 1)Rakim 2)LL Cool J3)Kool G Rap 4)Big Daddy Kane 5) MC Shan ( When these other guys came out he was the Crown Prince of Rap)And their certain things Shan did on record that these other guys couldnt do .
