Hey man, I was fortunate enough(???) to have a job on the highway when it was being 4-laned (circa 1975). I should have taken notes so I would have had an excellent start for what would have been dumb and dumber before anyone else had any thoughts of a movie. Those were the days, wish I could relive them.

Loved this song for years. All-time great riff, all-time great lyrics. Have always thought these guys should have more fans than they do. Truly Great Americans, right in the Johnny Cash strain, with many others. Best band to have over to your house.
