Pure sweetness. Has a Tiamat feel to it as well. Awesome!

No offense to people who are actual fans of this band, but if this song is an example of what they put out, I will have to pass. Uninspired drivel, that tries to sound intelligent (and convinces some people they actually are), but fails miserably to those who listen to music for the music, and not as a tool to seem cool in front of their friends. Its lazy and poses as something bigger than it is, but its not. In other words they do not live up to their intentions and I am not a fan of that.

Not a music snob, just a music realist. People want to put them on a pedestal because they have a cool name and they are a "supergroup" and late comers think that the label "post rock" automatically equals cool. Thats fine, thats marketing and is what sells records, but any music fan should want substance to somewhat match the hype. Comparing CBP to a creative expectation of the potential of the genre, I find they lack the vital elements that other bands posses. They sound like a side project.

This double cd is amazing. I think it is the most interesting music I have heard in a long time. Lots of influences from Cream and Pink Floyd which cant be bad but they have managed to make the music stand out as a perfect antidote to the dross being pushed by x factor etc. Long live proper music!

Music is always as big as its listener senses it to be...

Well, I think my comment below already explained it well. Should an expert with vast knowledge of a subject share his wisdom with those who do not have that advantage? Or should the expert keep that knowledge to himself? New listeners should be made aware if they are being ripped off by musical laziness or if they are falling for fools gold when trying to find the genuine thing. You can eat the Cube Steak, but there is no harm in telling people there is a T bone around the corner.
