One of my favorite WZ songs. Sad, but beautiful.

Warren was/is THE GREAT ONE!  Saw him 30+ times, his music additively sublime and it ages better than OPUS 1.Miss ya.

Did he do a faster version of this song? It was featured in an episode of the wonderful cable series "Enlightened" with Laura Dern.

Only Warren Zevon could or would have written such a candid, self-effacing song such as this.

Great song - at first it seems lyrically and melodically like a humourous, light hearted affair but quickly you realize its a desperately sad song - the sign of a great songwriter. RIP warren - some of us do not forget
