Rolls the volume control off and on while using a long delay pedal.

This song REALLY needs violin accompaniment. Still though, it sounds great.

It is interesting.  I do not know what kind of guitar synthesizer or effects Morse is using here, but much of this sounds truly out of tune.  Same holds for other videos of this performance.  Must be something in the air at Baden-Baden-Baden-Baden-Baden-Baden-Baden....

He practices constantly, fanatically. Although he is now more laid back, he admits to being extremely demanding when it came to playing in the Dregs, ruffling more than a few feathers. There is more to be learned from Morse, even though he is and has been extremely generous with his time. He is a very precious commodity in the guitar world.

And he composed it while staying at a house in the sticks, waiting for a gig with his bandmates. Just popped it off...

Purchase the entire DVD.  Can you purchase part of a DVD?  I guess you meant purchase the entire recording.

Someone may have asked this, but how does Steve get that effect like at 5:37?

Wonder how long it takes Dave and Van to get back up to speed on this tune when Steve comes off tour. This tune has exotic timing(s) and is notoriously difficult to play.

El Mahmoud- Thanks for posting this.  I saw the SMB around this time, 1989 in NYC.  T. Lavitz was the opening act, and at the end of the SMB set, T.Lavitz came out and joined in.  Closest thing to a proper Dregs show I have seen or will ever see.
